El agua indómita reconquista territorios y se revela con una bravura soberbia mostrando una estampa que estaba arrinconada en la memoria de las personas más mayores del lugar. Aragón asegura que se trata de un momento único el que vive este lugar que ya en 1933 mereció la calificación de Sitio Natural de Interés Nacional, hasta que en 1979 fue declarado por el Estado parque natural que, posteriormente, comenzó a gestionar la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha.
